A farmhouse bathroom finished by hand in Mas Maya, with heating beneath every inch of floor and aged-brass tapware from ABI Interiors.
Beneath the old oak roof timbers of Bramble Farmhouse, the brief was a bathroom that felt part of the building rather than added to it. Instead of tiles, we hand-applied a natural plaster across the walls, bath panel and vanity, then sealed it for a seamless, waterproof finish.
The floor is heated right through, shower tray included, and aged-brass fittings glow softly against the grey.
The plaster is Mas Maya, a unique organic coating for interior and exterior surfaces. It is natural and breathable, with no VOCs, chemicals, toxins or additives. Its soft, cloudy surface shifts with the light, so no two walls are ever quite the same.
A stone basin, a backlit round mirror, an aged-brass tap from ABI Interiors and a matching heated towel rail complete the room, with comfortable heat underfoot wherever you step.
